FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?
Q - What areas do you cover?
A - We are based in Clifton and cover the surrounding area, mainly using the Avonmouth DVSA Driving Test Centre.
Q - What are the cost of lessons?
A - Currently the price is £75 weekdays and £80 weekends and Bank Holidays. All lessons are two hours in duration.
For 'UK Driving Instructor of the Year' the price is £80 weekdays for a two hour lesson.
Q - How do I pay?
A - You pay the instructor at each lesson rather than paying online in advance as with some large franchised schools, risking your money.
Q - What happens if I need to cancel a lesson? [Ts & Cs]
A - All cancellations must be made within 48 hours of the booked lesson to avoid payment in full. This includes any reason such as illness or waiting for covid test results. The instructor requires enough time to offer your cancelled lesson to other valued students as with all driving schools.
Q - How do I book my driving test? [Ts & Cs]
A - Only after passing at least one mock driving test with one of our instructors can you book your driving test if you wish to take the test with one of our instructors cars. If you have previously booked your test without passing a mock test with us we cannot provide an instructor with a car for your test. In this case you will be asked to change your test booking to fit your instructors availability subject to passing a mock test.
Q - I have severe Anxiety. Do you have experience of this issue with students?
A - Yes we do. Please read some of our student Google reviews.
Q - Can you teach students with disabilities?
A - Yes we can depending on the disability. Please discuss this prior to booking lessons and we will do what ever we can to help.
Q - What cars do you use for driving lessons?
A - We mainly use manual gear diesel BMW Mini Cooper cars fitted with industry leading 'He Man' dual controls for added safety and confidence. Automatic option coming soon.
Q - Do you offer discounts, block bookings or intensive courses?
A - Unfortunately not as we are so busy with recommendations, we cannot justify offering cheaper deals to individual students. You will find from our student Google reviews we not only have a very high First Time Pass Rate with low minor driving fault record but we are great value for money with students often passing with far fewer lessons than with other leading driving schools making us already good value for money.
As the old saying goes ' you pay for what you get'. We don't believe in under-valuing the standard of our service. Please read what our students say about us, don't just take our word on it. Be aware of those schools who do offer cheap deals. Cheap generally is cheap... Too much availability is a potential sign of poor quality instruction. No good instructor ever needs to offer deals or discounts as they are so busy with personal recommendations.
